About the role
- The Development Director will play a critical role in increasing individual and recurring donations, managing donor relationships and data, and supporting fundraising initiatives that sustain and grow YBLA's programs.
- This position requires an experienced professional who is proactive, organized, relationship-driven, and possesses excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record in fundraising and donor development.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to increase YBLA's individual and recurring donations
- Lead and manage fundraising campaigns that support YBLA's programs and initiatives
- Supervise and support team members involved in fundraising and donor engagement efforts
- Meet with sponsors and donors to cultivate relationships and secure financial support
- Develop and implement a donor stewardship program to strengthen long-term engagement and retention
- Execute special projects that support YBLA's growth and long-term sustainability
- Oversee donor data management and maintain accurate records in YBLA's databases
- Schedule meetings, document notes and action items, and ensure timely follow-up
- Attend community events and networking functions to increase awareness and support for YBLA
- Provide support to the marketing and programming teams as needed

- Some evening and weekend work required
