Responsibilities

Own and define enterprise architecture strategy and future-state technical architecture for cloud, data, and integration platform
Partner with Director/VP-level leaders to shape technical and business strategy
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud and on prem infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Nutanix.
Drive automation initiatives and design continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
Design robust monitoring solutions and incident response procedures to ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud services.
Lead the design of new and evolving platform capabilities, including design data and integration platform solutions.
Work closely with security teams to implement best practices for cloud security. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline workflows, improve release processes, and enhance overall productivity.
Develop and execute strategies for optimizing cloud costs, including resource utilization analysis, cost allocation, and budget management.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
To be considered for career opportunities at Scout Motors, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
15+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Experience with big data technologies

Compensation

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $170,000.00 - $206,250.00
Initial California base salary range = $187,000 - $226,875
