Responsibilities
- Collaborate with NBC News digital, streaming and broadcast platforms on newsgathering, social media initiatives and content distribution
- Initiate & maintain communication with affiliates & News Channel counterparts
- Facilitate and manage live reporter requests from all platforms for field teams on assignment
- Establish & maintain working story & contact files
- We create world-class content, which we distribute across our portfolio of film, television, and streaming, and bring to life through our global theme park destinations, consumer products, and experiences.
- We own and operate leading entertainment and news brands, including NBC, NBC News, NBC Sports, Telemundo, NBC Local Stations, Bravo, and Peacock, our premium ad-supported streaming service.

Requirements
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

- Strong research skills and editorial judgment
- Ability to clearly communicate directives and status updates to both technical and non-technical resources
- Experience in major market or network with big breaking news
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Capable of managing multiple deliverables and completing assigned tasks quickly
- Passion for news and an interest in multiple platforms (broadcast, web, streaming, mobile)
- Committed to quality in every assignment, large or small
Compensation
- $75,000 - $85,000
- At least 2 years editorial production experience at a network, local, cable or digital outlet
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient on newsroom systems and all social media outlets
- Solid working knowledge of TV production, affiliates & satellite operations
- Strong news judgment & communication skills are essential
