Requirements
- Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly, and walk/stand to a significant degree
- Must pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
Compensation
- $65,000 - $96,500 annually
- Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
- This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

- Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Associated (ALA) accredited school

- Experience in a public library
- Experience presenting and facilitating programs in a library setting
- Job Contributions
- Interviews, trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned branch staff and volunteers
- Schedules staff and authorizes leave to ensure an equitable distribution of work and adequate staffing
- Maintains vibrant and attractive collections by employing merchandising techniques, presenting engaging displays, and following adopted collection maintenance practices
- Acts on behalf of the Large Branch Manager in their absence
