About the role
- Tarkett is seeking an experienced and strategic Yarn Production Supervisor (shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm) to join our growing team in our Dalton Manufacturing Plant.
- The Group has close to 12,000 employees, 25 R&D centers, 8 recycling centers and 33 production sites.
Responsibilities
- The Supervisor will proactively lead, support, train, coach and direct his or her assigned work team to execute operational plans.
- This role will drive continuous improvement through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) while sustaining effective associate relationships.
- The Production Supervisor will properly maintain records, reports, and data collection in a timely and complete manner.
Requirements
- Providing coaching and guidance as required, as well as executing consistent documentation within the corrective action process
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role
- Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, ADP / SAP is a plus
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Visual Shop Floor Management experience with handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at the same time
