About the role
- The OMFS extracts teeth that are impacted, infected, or damaged by disease.
- The OMFS provides varying levels of anesthesia, including local, nitrous oxide, minimal and moderate sedation, and general anesthesia

Responsibilities
- They perform biopsies, bone grafts, sinus surgeries, surgery to support orthodontic treatment, as well as periprosthetic surgery.
- Obtain and maintain Nitrous Oxide credentials and/or other forms of sedation.
- Will maintain appropriate certifications to support the provider's anesthesia permit (ie, ACLS, PALS).
Compensation
- The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
- This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
- $520,000 - $560,000 USD

- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, at the highest available scope of licensure per the applicable state's Dental Practice Act.
- Eligible employees will accrue a minimum of 120 PTO hours per employment year in addition to seven paid holidays annually.

- Follow the FDA and ALARA principle guidelines when taking intra-oral and panoramic radiographs
- Diagnose and treat dental issues related to disease, malformations and injuries and develop individualized treatment plans for such.
- Strict adherence to Willamette Dental Group's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy. This includes but is not limited to the use of N95 respirators and other PPE as required by regulatory bodies and company policy.
- Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Successful completion of a traditional pre doctoral dentistry program and valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing.
- Licensed as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Licensed as a Doctor of Medicine (MD), when applicable. DEA registration. Maintenance of BLS certification. Actively seeking or has achieved board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. At a minimum, will maintain state board's equivalent of a minimal sedation permit. Will maintain appropriate certifications to support the provider's anesthesia permit (ie, ACLS, PALS).
- Serve as a resource for other practitioners in the company regarding the management of medically complex and surgically complex patients.
- Ensure quality care and adherence to the company treatment philosophy: reviewing data from the dashboard, specialty referrals, EV Report and be counseled as needed.
