About the role
- The Senior Filmmaker is a highly creative storyteller and visual strategist responsible for shaping the creative vision and execution of video content across the church.
- This individual possesses exceptional creative instincts, a refined visual taste, and a passion for producing meaningful work that connects with people.
- This role requires someone who thinks beyond the camera-someone who actively studies culture, storytelling, filmmaking, and emerging creative trends to continually elevate their craft.
Responsibilities
- Team Leads to develop compelling creative concepts that support ministry objectives.
- Produces visually compelling content with excellence in cinematography, lighting, composition, audio capture, directing, and production design.
- Creates polished, engaging edits utilizing advanced color grading, sound design, pacing, motion graphics, and visual effects to tell stories with clarity and emotional impact.
- Functions as a highly resourceful producer who can independently solve creative challenges, adapt to changing production needs, and maximize available resources to deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
- Must be-or willing to become-a participating member of CCV.
- Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field
- or equivalent professional experience with at least five years in high-level video production.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Strong understanding of audio production and sound design for professional video.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce projects from concept through delivery while maintaining a consistently high creative standard.
- Online Demo Reel Required.
