About the role
- Every company is deploying agents, spinning up service accounts, and realizing their IAM stack can't keep up.
- You'll work directly with security and engineering teams at Fortune 500s and startups alike, understand their messy reality, and determine our position as a leader in IAM.
- You'll report directly into our CPO and work hand in hand with our engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Drive category creation and position Opal as the authorization intelligence layer, not just another point solution in a crowded IAM landscape.
- Build platforms, not just features: you understand API strategy, developer experience, and how to create extensible systems that others build on.
- Thrive in undefined spaces: you get energized by ambiguous problems where there's no playbook. You'd rather figure out what to build than refine an existing roadmap.
- Most importantly - shape a category: you're excited about defining what AI-native IAM means and building the product that becomes the standard.
Requirements
- 6+ years in product management, owning a highly technical product or solution in the security space
- Either a degree in computer science or you categorize yourself as a pseudo/honorary engineer
