About the role

- Oversees the creation and maintenance of bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other Enterprise wide systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supplier management strategies aligned with business objectives
- Own the purchasing strategy, budgeting process, and process documentation
- Optimize supplier base through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation to drive cost savings and mitigate risk
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement activities with business goals on margin, quality, and time-lines
- Lead price and contract negotiations with key suppliers
- Manage Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with strategic suppliers
Requirements
- Directs, plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, APICS certification (CPIM) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years people management experience
- A strong background within Purchasing with a proven track record in cost reduction, negotiation and supplier management is required
- a proactive approach to problem solving as well as having the ability to convert strategy into action is required.
- Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement teams and activities
- Expert capability in modern sourcing principles
- Ability to analyze cost effectiveness and make sound commercial / business decisions and recommendations

Compensation
- $106,000.00 - $132,000.00
- The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure.
- Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
