About the role
- The New York office of Clifford Chance has an opening for an Asset Finance associate attorney in the firm's Debt Finance Group.
- We advise lessors, financiers, banks, funds, manufacturers, operators and investors on asset finance across aviation, shipping, rail and other movable, high-value assets.
- This includes secured lending, operating and finance leases, sale and leaseback, export credit and other structured financings.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school, or a foreign law degree with a U.S. LL.M. from an accredited law school.
- Substantial experience in aviation and other transportation finance, including aircraft and high‑value equipment financings.
- Familiarity with export credit agency (ECA)-supported financings, ABS, and other innovative or complex financing structures.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong client-service orientation, and ability to work effectively in team-based, cross-border matters.
- Admission to the New York bar is required.

- Preferred class years 2017-2021.
