About the role

  • Assists Cook in preparing food items in a timely fashion following production time schedules, prescribed recipes, portions, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assists in regular and modified foods as directed to meet resident diet modifications and recipe compliance.
  • Follows proper food handling procedures including maintaining food in a temperature safety zone.

Requirements

  • Assists in meal service as required relating to beverage and meal service, plating of food, clearing, and cleaning of dining rooms etc.

Nice to have

  • High School Graduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certification in a nationally recognized food service safety program.
  • Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Food Safe Certification Level 1.
  • Experience working with Juice dispenser, Dish Machine, Steam tables, Chemical Dispenser, Knives, Ovens, Mixer, and other kitchen equipment.

Compensation

  • $25.82 per hour
