About the role

  • The District has 8 small schools: (4) K-6 elementary schools; (2) middle schools; and (2) high schools serving the communities of Clarksburg, Hood, Courtland, Walnut Grove, Ryde, Locke, Isleton, Rio Vista, Birds Landing, and Collinsville.
  • The River Delta Unified School District sits in three counties - Sacramento, Solano, and Yolo.

Responsibilities

  • Exercises functional and technical supervision over instruction support staff.
  • Plan, assign, and direct the work of instruction support staff; train staff and review work practices.
  • Develop goals and prepare and implement specific objectives for assigned class according to Board and District Policy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Experience and Training Guidelines Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
  • Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Compensation

  • The district encourages advancement on the salary schedule for advanced classes taken to improve instruction in areas agreed upon by the teacher, principal, and Superintendent.

  • Masters $1000.00 Doctorate $1000.00 BCLAD $1000.00 Fully Credentialed Special Ed Specialist Sign-on Stipend $5,000.00 paid in two installments at end of first year and end of second year.
  • Placement dependent on verifiable years of teaching experience in U.S. Public Education Benefits up to $1500 monthly based on FTE, towards the purchase of District sponsored benefits.
