About the role

  • This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, eager to work directly with students, and interested in pursuing a future career in teaching or school leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support campus-wide activities such as lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal to ensure student safety
  • Support lead teachers in delivering instruction by assisting with lesson activities, classroom management, and transitions
  • Substitute for lead teachers when necessary to ensure continuity of instruction
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student academic and behavioral success
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • As a Paraprofessional at AMS, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping ensure all students have the tools and support needed to succeed academically and behaviorally.

Skills

  • Prepare instructional materials, organize classroom resources, and assist with basic data tracking

Compensation

  • Starting at $15.50 to $17 per hour, DOE
