About the role
- Schedule: - Monday - Friday - 9:30am - 6:00pm You will be responsible for completing routine and advanced warehouse activities using defined job processes with a high level of accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Physical Demands: Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Employees who are 21 years of age or older will be automatically enrolled in the company's 401(k) plan once they achieve 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize PC-based WMS to perform one or more warehouse activities; including, but not limited to, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle count, inventory, and/or outbound processing audits.
- Coordinate with supervisor and/or lead on inbound or outbound warehouse activities and performance.
- Utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities.
- Support and execute projects, including, but not limited to, DTS inventory, managing queues, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
- Support company goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License Required.
- 1+ years of experience using a stand-up reach forklift, power pallet jacks, cherry picker, and sit-down forklift.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices.
- Ability to work at heights of up to 28 ft. using powered equipment.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Physical Demands:
- Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. The use of hands/fingers are often needed.
- Continuous lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.
