About the role

  • You will also coordinate payroll system upgrades, interpret pay policies, and support year-end processes, benefits administration, and audits.
  • As a fully qualified, journey-level Payroll Specialist, you will process biweekly payroll, maintain compliance with all federal, state, and provincial regulations, audit and reconcile pay records, and serve as a liaison to employees, internal teams, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Document payroll processes, train staff, and back up specialized payroll functions as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years payroll experience with the U.S. and Canada.
  • Payroll certifications (PCP, CPM, FPC, CPP) or an accounting/finance background required.
  • Expert in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits, reconciliations, and year-end processes.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • able to advise senior partners on complex matters.
