About the role

- This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Frequently maintain visual awareness and focus to observe trainees, monitor performance, and verify to standard work
- Frequently move between workstations, warehouse, and production areas frequently to support team operations
- Lead the production team's daily start-up meeting, ergonomic work, and establishes job rotation.
- Performs first response troubleshooting and minor first line maintenance activities during production line down.
- Employs various problem-solving techniques (5 Why, etc.) to drive problems to permanent corrective action.
- Drives Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement within the work cells.
- Performs cell audits and inspections and follows-up on abnormalities; charts/tracks team progress.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing shop floor environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 lbs unassisted, and heavier items with assistance or material handling equipment
- Ability to alternate between standing, walking, and sitting during training delivery and administrative tasks
- Ability to push and pull carts, training materials, and equipment as needed
- Ability to work in an environment with continuous background noise and sounds generated by production equipment and material handling processes
- Conducts on-the-job training and maintains required training documentation for all employees assigned to the work cells.
- Leads the team in completion of required preventative maintenance activities.
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of a Manufacturing Associate operator as required.
Nice to have
- 1+ years' training experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience identifying training requirements.
- Experience designing improvements to the work environment.
- Experience utilizing continuous improvement measures.
- Experience managing training records.
