About the role

  • This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting production continuity, and safeguarding sensitive materials in a regulated defense environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items within ERP/inventory systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of components and materials.
  • Support procurement and logistics teams in resolving receiving discrepancies or inventory-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Support system improvements within ERP/MRP platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory management and control, preferably in a manufacturing or defense environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and experience operating within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Support audits by preparing required documentation and reconciling inventory records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional standing and walking within the office
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of defense industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., ITAR, DFARS) is a plus.
