Responsibilities
- About this role: Pickle Robot Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of electrical systems for our next-generation industrial robotic products.
- You will own system‑level electrical architecture, guide cross‑functional engineering efforts, and support the transition from prototype to production.
- This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast‑paced R&D environments and enjoys both hands‑on design and technical leadership.
- Lead the design, review, and management of electrical systems and subsystems with a strong emphasis on safety, EMC, and compliance.
- Develop electrical requirements, specifications, and documentation that drive system‑level design.
- Deliver cost‑effective, manufacturable electrical solutions and support release to production and field deployment.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to execute product designs from concept through production, including prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
- Lead and support a technical team across multiple parallel projects, ensuring alignment and engineering rigor.
- Write and maintain functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Architect, design, and debug complex embedded systems, including analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and system‑level interfaces.
Requirements
- An Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or related electromechanical systems.
Nice to have
- Hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
- Familiar with CAD tools such as OnShape (a plus).
