- Ability to travel up to 15%.

- Assist design team in machinery design from inception to completion that are extensive and complex involving original design work and selection of components and materials.
- Typically responsible for the development of engineering specifications and original design concepts.
- The Electrical Engineer I is responsible for assisting in the application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting of OEM equipment.
- Gain an understanding of engineering standards, products, systems, and procedures.
- Perform needs analysis, initiate ideas, and evaluate new products, processes, or systems.
- Assist in machinery design and the selection of components and materials.
- Develop of engineering specifications and original design concepts.
- Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment.
- Assist in machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.
- Test and debug equipment to isolate defects
- Prepare layouts using CAD tools
- Evaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes
- Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for less complex equipment.
- Support assembly teams as needed.
- May travel to customer site for technical assistance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
