  • Assist design team in machinery design from inception to completion that are extensive and complex involving original design work and selection of components and materials.
  • Typically responsible for the development of engineering specifications and original design concepts.
  • The Electrical Engineer I is responsible for assisting in the application, design, development, project management and troubleshooting of OEM equipment.
  • Gain an understanding of engineering standards, products, systems, and procedures.
  • Perform needs analysis, initiate ideas, and evaluate new products, processes, or systems.
  • Assist in machinery design and the selection of components and materials.
  • Develop of engineering specifications and original design concepts.
  • Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment.
  • Assist in machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.
  • Test and debug equipment to isolate defects
  • Prepare layouts using CAD tools
  • Evaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes
  • Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for less complex equipment.
  • Support assembly teams as needed.
  • May travel to customer site for technical assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
