About the role
- Provides behavioral health services to patients.
- Completes psychosocial assessment and direct treatment by individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy.
- Writes appropriate treatment plans according to patient diagnosis, age and clinical presentation.
Responsibilities
- Essential Functions Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
- Manages clients in crisis utilizing appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
- Collaborates with appropriate guardians and community agencies to insure effective service delivery.
- Monitors, documents, and reports client progress toward restoration of competency to stand trial.
Requirements
- Full licensure in NC required.
- 2 years clinical experience required.
- CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting.
- May provide expert testimony or appear in court regarding client progress and clinical status when required.

- Department: 85161 Greater Charlotte Research and Other Sponsored Programs - Academic Community Based Capacity Restoration Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: M-F, 8am-5pm Pay
