About the role

  • You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER in the Nuclear Production Manager Division (Code 300N), Production Resource Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Requirements

  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience overseeing nuclear ship and component repairs across all production phases, managing inter-departmental coordination, radiological safety, nuclear training, and quality control.
  • Experience with planning and leading programs, managing personnel and organizational resources to achieve key project milestones.
  • Experience with operational knowledge of shipyard organization, standard policies, daily procedures, and safety practices.
  • Experience with managing heavy industrial ship repair logistics by applying industrial management principles to solve complex operational and supply chain challenges.

Compensation

  • $150k-$195k
