About the role
- Grace Fellowship Church (GFC), a growing non-denominational church in Timonium, MD, is seeking a Custodian.
- Inspect facilities to detect malfunctions and needed repairs; make notes and recommendations to facilities management.
- Prepare facilities for weekend services and other scheduled events.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the security, safety, and appearance of all facilities.
- Perform housekeeping cleaning work in a timely fashion
- Perform landscaping work to maintain the grounds.
- Perform requests for repairs and improvements in a timely manner.
- Serve on-call to respond to emergencies or building needs that require immediate attention over weekends and off-hours.
- Strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Sunday morning is required as a working day on team rotation.
- The ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times is expected.
Compensation
- There are currently three annual events, Christmas, Easter, and Fall Launch, where additional hours are required.
