Responsibilities
- In this hands-on role, you'll have the opportunity to shape safety programs, influence behaviours on the floor, and partner with teams to continuously improve how work is done.
- Partner with site teams to identify risks, implement controls, and strengthen safe work practices, including reviewing changes to equipment, materials, and processes
- Support and facilitate incident investigations, reporting, and claims management, ensuring root cause analysis and timely preventive actions
- Deliver and coordinate HSE training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing safety communications
- Maintain HSE systems, documentation, and core programs, including PPE, hazardous materials, inspection tracking, and first aid readiness (supplies, certifications, and records)
- Support and facilitate incident investigations, reporting, and claims management, including accurate documentation and tracking, ensuring root cause analysis and timely preventive actions
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs, including adapting initiatives, developing site procedures, and driving engagement

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of Alberta OHS Regulations and Codes
Skills
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer and reporting skills
Benefits
- Technical diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (university degree considered an asset)
