Responsibilities

  • In this hands-on role, you'll have the opportunity to shape safety programs, influence behaviours on the floor, and partner with teams to continuously improve how work is done.
  • Partner with site teams to identify risks, implement controls, and strengthen safe work practices, including reviewing changes to equipment, materials, and processes
  • Support and facilitate incident investigations, reporting, and claims management, ensuring root cause analysis and timely preventive actions
  • Deliver and coordinate HSE training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing safety communications
  • Maintain HSE systems, documentation, and core programs, including PPE, hazardous materials, inspection tracking, and first aid readiness (supplies, certifications, and records)
  • Support and facilitate incident investigations, reporting, and claims management, including accurate documentation and tracking, ensuring root cause analysis and timely preventive actions
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs, including adapting initiatives, developing site procedures, and driving engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of Alberta OHS Regulations and Codes

Skills

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer and reporting skills

Benefits
