About the role
- You will work closely with our LOA and disability vendor, HRBPs, managers, and people legal to ensure that leave cases are handled accurately, with care, and in compliance across multiple states.
- Coordinate stay-at-work and return-to-work accommodations such as reduced schedules, travel modifications, job restructuring, and equipment.
- Respond to multi-state inquiries on employee eligibility.

Requirements
- You know when to pull in additional members of your team, People Legal, managers, and HRBPs.
- Experience supporting the ADA interactive process and coordinating workplace accommodations
- Experience managing day-to-day LOA vendor relationships
- 4+ years of experience in Leave of Absence administration with a focus on complex case management
- Expert knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, STD/LTD, and multi-state paid leave laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- able to explain complex leave rules clearly to employees and managers
- Comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment
- This is a part-time role of approximately 19 hours per week and is not benefit-eligible.

Compensation
- In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $40.00 - $63.80 hourly.
- This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $38.00 - $60.60 hourly.
- The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
- In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
- Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
Benefits
- Manage complex and escalated leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, STD, LTD, state-mandated leaves, military leave, caregiver leave, domestic partner leave, and parental leave.
- Partner with HRBPs and managers to help them navigate leave processes.
- Escalate systematic issues, discrepancies, or compliance risks to the Leave Program Manager, accompanied by documented findings.
