Alarm.com is looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Protocols Team, where we develop and maintain the communication backbone powering millions of IoT devices worldwide.
In this role, you will design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions that enable seamless interoperability between devices, making homes smarter, safer, and more efficient.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Two or more years of professional software development experience.
Experience with database design, SQL, and backend development.
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Ember.js, Angular, or React.
Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
A curious mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.

$88,300 - $122,550 USD
The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.
The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
