- This hands-on role is responsible for supervising sheet metal installation activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, coordinating daily work, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside sheet metal crews on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity.
- Collaborate with project leadership and other trades to resolve field issues and maintain workflow.
- Maintain daily logs, production reports, and timekeeping records.
- Mentor apprentices and support the development of crew members.
- The Foreman will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades to successfully deliver projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sheet metal experience in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork installation, blueprints, and applicable codes.
- Previous Foreman or lead-level supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate work activities, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
