- Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Sr Principal Project Management - Level 4 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.
Responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple project portfolios with a variety of stakeholders
- They will assist in resolving project issues with the project managers and business teams, monitor progress and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Serve as an interface between Western Region Facilities and Non-Facilities project leads and their leadership (business unit, program)
- Support across the Western Region and drive cross-regional consistency
- Support internal project adjudication process as financial delegate
- Support the Infrastructure risk tracking tool to the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
- Provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet project requirements
- Support the review, analysis, and management of contractor invoicing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, or financial analysis OR a Master's degree with 6 years of experience
- No clearance required to start
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, advanced lookups, and data visualization to analyze and merge large datasets, chart plotting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
Nice to have
- Experience in the defense industry and knowledge of Northrop Grumman products
- Experience in Project Execution
- Prior experience with Northrop Grumman financial planning, reporting, and analysis
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
- Experience in project management and associated cost and schedule metric development
- Understanding of U.S. government cost accounting standards
- DoD/Secret or SCI clearances

Compensation
- $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
