About the role

  • As a Ramp Agent, you'll be at the heart of our ground operations, ensuring that our guests' baggage and cargo are loaded, offloaded, and transported with care and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear communication with flight crews and other ground personnel.
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee's successful business operation.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain an airport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS security clearance.
  • Ability to maintain reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry baggage and cargo weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds or more.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work in cramped or high places.
  • Manual dexterity required for handling documents and operating equipment.
  • Must be able to operate various ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, which requires a valid driver's license and the physical capability to do so safely.
  • Hearing protection is usually provided and required.
