About the role
- FHCSD is one of the top 10 largest federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the country.
- Our staff provides care to over 227,000 patients each year, of whom 91% are low-income and 29% are uninsured.
- FHCSD also offers supportive services to those who are unsheltered and in need of intensive case management.
Responsibilities
- With input from the Project Manager and/or Architect, responsible for the design and technical development of project construction documents through all phases of the design process.
- Review, track, and address design team member's and Consultants on day-to-day questions or issues related to drawing coordination, organization and detailing.
- Provide information, development support and training to team members through office training processes and procedures designed to expand and enhance skills of other team members.
- Prepare design presentations and renderings when needed.
- Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants to include outside Architecture firms, Structural, MEP and Civil Engineers.
- Ensure quality and timely completion of design projects are conducted through prior planning and communicating with project team to ensure productivity is proceeding in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience drafting at an Architectural and/or Engineering firm.
- Working experience and proficiency with AutoCad and Revit.
- Knowledge of commonly used architectural concepts, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of architectural detailing.
- Demonstrated experience with the permitting process.
- Must have a car, a valid California driver's license, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended.
- An acceptable driving record is also required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
Compensation
- 70,304.00 - 88,751.00
