Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audits and mock inspections as needed.
  • Maintain the document control system. Be a resource for laboratory supervisors for how to use document control software.
  • Maintain equipment inventory, including but not limited to pipettes, microscopes, analytical instruments, and miscellaneous equipment.
  • Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or pathology lab with knowledge of CLIA regulations, and CAP requirements.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills, detail-oriented
  • ability to apply the appropriate statistical tools in evaluating QI processes.
  • Manage and document the receipt, assignment, and follow up to completion of all proficiency testing.
  • Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.

Compensation

  • Schedule annual preventive maintenance for equipment including but not limited to pipettes, hoods, and equipment. Maintain all associated documentation.
