About the role

- This person will be involved in several facets of the funds' accounting, financial reporting, cash management, investor reporting, and fund performance/analysis deliverables.
Responsibilities
- we build businesses, invest for growth, acquire assets, provide direct financing, identify value in public markets, purchase royalty streams, and regularly develop first-of-their-kind structures to meet the strategic objectives of management teams.
- Sixth Street has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to join our team as a Fund Accounting Analyst or Senior Analyst to support several of our investment funds in Dallas, Texas.
- Manage investor reporting and requests including capital calls, distributions, and reporting
Requirements
- Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
- Candidate must have attention to detail and be focused on multiple demands and deliverables
- Experience with credit and structured products investments (Bank Debt, HY Bonds, CLOs)

Nice to have
- Assist in oversight of the Funds' Administrator
- Assist with quarterly valuation process
- Liaison with investment professionals on structuring, cash movements and investment performance
- Assist with complex waterfall and management fee calculations
- Assist with various compliance reports (e.g., credit facility, limited partnership agreement, ect. )
- Assist with fund expense reporting and analysis
- Identify and help solve for critical accounting and reporting issues
- Strong understanding and application of accounting rules and industry accounting practices
Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong accounting and excel skills
Compensation
- Manage all accounting responsibilities within the monthly, quarterly, annual closing cycles
