About the role
- The Email Coordinator is responsible for the execution of email marketing campaigns supporting webinars, events, and symposiums.
- Application Procedure: This position may be based in office, hybrid or remotely based and is open to all eligible candidates in Canada.
- Preference may be given to candidates in the Eastern or Central time zone.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute email marketing campaigns to promote webinars, virtual events, symposiums, and other eMarketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with webinar production, editorial, and cross-functional teams to coordinate promotional activities, communicate event updates, and support post-event performance analysis.
- Develop and manage targeted audience segments and custom email lists, including automated workflows, abandoned cart campaigns, and re-engagement campaigns for past attendees.
- Maintain accurate campaign tracking and reporting by ensuring marketing dashboards and trackers are updated with key performance metrics, including conversions, email open rates, click-through rates, and form submissions.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to support ongoing optimization and continuous improvement.
- This role manages the end-to-end build and deployment of campaigns, maintains accurate internal tracking and reporting, coordinates promotional activities with paid social and cross-functional marketing teams, and ensures clear, timely communication between internal stakeholders, sales, and webinar production to support successful campaign execution.
- The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead, eMarketing - Digital Events & Webinars to ensure the seamless execution of email campaigns for all digital events, webinars, and symposiums.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working with email marketing.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp)
- Industry Expertise: Familiarity with digital event marketing, or science sectors is highly desirable.

- The expected salary range for this position is $45,000- $50,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits package includes health and dental coverage, paid vacation, and professional development support.
