About the role

  • Schedule & Logistics Hours: After-school hours (potentially 3 to 3.5 hours per day).
  • Commitment: 3 to 4 days per week (final schedule TBD).
  • Start Date: Likely beginning in September.

Responsibilities

  • Group Instruction: Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of elementary and/or middle school students (grades K-8).
  • Curriculum Delivery: Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics) tailored to respective grade levels.
  • Group Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment that keeps both young learners and adolescents focused and motivated.
  • In this role, you will provide vital academic support to elementary and middle school students (grades K-8) in an engaging, in-person group setting.
  • Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of elementary and/or middle school students (grades K-8).
  • Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics) tailored to respective grade levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary and/or middle school-aged youth in group environments).
  • Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site.

Nice to have

  • Current teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus.
