About the role
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and a results-oriented mindset.
- This role reports directly to Robert Lee, Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for operations technology platforms and data capabilities.
- Drive innovation across financial technology systems, including OMS, EMS, PMS, reporting, and data platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Build consensus among stakeholders and facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Lead system implementations, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing platform support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a hands-on technology leadership role within a private equity, alternative asset management, or broader financial services organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing onshore and offshore teams across software development, QA, data engineering, and business analysis.
- Strong project management experience with ownership of multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business leaders, technical teams, and executive management.
- Experience delivering mission-critical technology platforms in highly regulated and data-intensive environments.
- Strong hands-on software development experience.
- Required Experience
- Proven track record leading cross-functional technology initiatives from concept through implementation and support.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and execution quality.
- Deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies and enterprise system integration patterns.
- Technical Qualifications
- Proficiency in:
- Angular and/or React
Nice to have
- Credit Order and Portfolio Management Systems (e.g., IVP, Aladdin, Geneva)
- Collateral Management Platforms (e.g., Siepe)
- Azure Data Factory
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms and technologies is highly desirable:
