Requirements

  • Strong computer, typing (40 wpm) and data entry skills required.
  • Ability to do basic math and spelling.
  • Ability to read and write cursive.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • This position requires a successful criminal background check required by Texas Department of State Human Services
  • This position requires a successful criminal background check required by Texas Department of State Human Services - Vital Statistics Section.

Nice to have

  • 1 year of clerical experience including cash handling and customer service.
  • Three (3) years preferred
  • Prior experience working in a legal capacity a plus.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Arabic)

Compensation

  • $16.34 - $20.43 hourly based on qualifications
