About the role

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include:
  • The Commissioning Manager will be primarily involved with performing the following duties and responsibilities.
  • Primary POC on project for all Commissioning related activities.

Responsibilities

  • This role serves as the central point of coordination between project teams, subcontractors, design consultants, and third-party commissioning agents, ensuring seamless system turnover and successful project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project-specific commissioning plans, schedules, and scopes of work
  • Track and manage commissioning issues, deficiencies, and resolution through completion
  • Support project teams in achieving substantial completion and final acceptance milestones.
  • Support energization activities and ensure full compliance with NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in either electrical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP construction and commissioning, with at least 3 years in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
