Responsibilities

- Perform fusion and cupellation processes using furnace tools;
- Maintain and organize departmental inventory, such as supplies and chemicals;
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years laboratory Fire Assay experience in a production oriented environment required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work within a hot and dusty environment
- Ability to stand and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary re
- Knowledge of GEMS required.
Nice to have
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Science required, with a concentration in Chemistry or Chemical Sciences preferred
Compensation
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Science required, with a concentration in Chemistry or Chemical Sciences preferred; Maintain annual recertification for the disposal of hazardous waste.
