About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist, ensuring precision and patient safety throughout the process.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Operate and maintain radiation therapy machines, ensuring functionality and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment sessions.

Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
State licensure (if required by the state).
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent credential.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support to patients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with attention to detail.
Work Environment & Conditions:
Outpatient Radiation Services administered weekdays only.
Requires standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility needs.
Regular exposure to radiation, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.

Prior experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.
Familiarity with different types of radiation therapy techniques, such as IMRT, SBRT, and brachytherapy.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Positions start at $85,000 - $120,000. depending on experience, in addition we have discretionary company bonuses and department bonus structure and a 5% annual contribution to a 401(k) plan.
Monitor patients during treatments and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, Dosimetrists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
