About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist, ensuring precision and patient safety throughout the process.
- This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy machines, ensuring functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- State licensure (if required by the state).
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent credential.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support to patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with attention to detail.
- Work Environment & Conditions:
- Outpatient Radiation Services administered weekdays only.
- Requires standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility needs.
- Regular exposure to radiation, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.

Skills
- Prior experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.
- Familiarity with different types of radiation therapy techniques, such as IMRT, SBRT, and brachytherapy.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Compensation
- Our PTO system rolls over annually and continues to accrue up to 2x your annual allotment, plus you can sell up to 40 hours a year.

- Positions start at $85,000 - $120,000. depending on experience, in addition we have discretionary company bonuses and department bonus structure and a 5% annual contribution to a 401(k) plan.
- Monitor patients during treatments and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
- Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, Dosimetrists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
