About the role
- In this role, you will apply your military expertise, creativity, problem-solving ability, and operational storytelling skills to help improve organizational mission performance across the defense training environment.
- As the Opposing Force Special Operations Work Area Commander, you will serve as part of a team supporting Warfighter Exercise rotations.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for OPFOR Special Operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage OPFOR Special Operations efforts for the OPFOR Support Division.
Requirements
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Knowledge of Army and Joint regulations.
- Knowledge of current Special Operations doctrine.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of military experience
- or high school diploma with at least 10 years of military experience.
- Experience as a former field grade officer, warrant officer, or sergeant major.
- Experience serving in a key developmental position at the brigade or battalion level.
- Experience with constructive simulation models, including Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability and Warfighters' Simulation.
- Experience with FM 7-100 series OPFOR doctrine.
- Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program.
Compensation
- $70k-$90k
