Requirements
- Unlicensed Assistive Personnel training requirements can be waived if the employee demonstrates competency in required content areas.
- ✔️ Was a nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure exam in the past 3 years
- ✔️ Has documented experience as a nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician in the past 3 years
- ✔️ Completed UAP training in Missouri within the last 3 years
Nice to have
- ✔️ Experience in patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ambulation, feeding, etc.)
- ✔️ BCLS certification
