About the role

  • Based in Dallas, this position goes beyond traditional accounting and reporting.
  • This is an opportunity to join a dynamic environment where finance is closely connected to operations, and where you will work directly with leadership to improve performance, transparency, and scalability.
  • Prepare GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements, management reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations leadership to monitor project performance, profitability, margins, and resource utilization.
  • Manage job cost accounting for both time-and-material and fixed-price projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and visibility into project performance.
  • Analyze project costs and operational trends to support forecasting, pricing decisions, and business planning.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, collections support, and line-of-credit administration.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and financial compliance.
  • Serve as the finance lead for ERP optimization, process automation initiatives, and future systems integrations.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis, business recommendations, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of accounting, controllership, or operational finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with project accounting, job costing, WIP analysis, revenue recognition, or percentage-of-completion accounting.
  • Experience supporting service, construction, field-service, industrial, energy, manufacturing, or project-based businesses.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • What You Bring Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning activities.
