Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support product quality and lot release
  • Document and report results in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Support investigations related to Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), and non-conformance events
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain laboratory equipment through calibration, verification, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Quality teams to resolve issues and support production timelines

  • The Food Ingredient business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific field
  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience in food, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of chemical testing techniques and laboratory instrumentation
  • Experience documenting laboratory results and supporting investigations

Nice to have

  • Experience working with LIMS systems (e.g., SoftTrace or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Experience in food ingredient or food manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to audits, inspections, or regulatory compliance activities
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
