About the role

  • This role requires comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, and an AI-first mindset - using modern tools to do more, faster, across multiple workstreams at once.
  • This role reports to our Principal Product Manager.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to accelerate analysis, surface insights faster, and scale analytical output across multiple simultaneous workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, and Design to define success metrics, validate hypotheses, and uncover the opportunities that shape what we build next.
  • Implement data quality monitoring to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data powering product decisions - including anomaly detection and alerting on critical metric drift.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments, translating results into clear, actionable recommendations for product and leadership teams.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define success metrics, monitor post-launch performance, and translate behavioral patterns and friction points into product improvements that shape feature decisions and customer journeys.
  • This creates a consistent, meaningful overlap that supports team norms and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, or another quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • comfort working with data engineers to define schemas, transformations, and refresh cadences.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Mode, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with customer segmentation using behavioral or transactional data.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make progress when the problem is not yet fully defined.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of experience in a product analytics, business analytics, or related quantitative role, ideally within fintech, e-commerce, or consumer financial services.
  • Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
  • Python or R experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • The starting base salary range for this position is typically $132,000 - $148,500 gross per annum.
  • In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
