Manage a group of hourly team leaders and team members, providing direct communication and leadership to ensure a safe operating environment.

Manage area budget, including operating supplies, raw materials, staffing - continuously looking for improvement opportunities.

Reporting to the manager, the person in this role will support the objective to lead/manage team members.

Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience (10 years) in industrial equipment maintenance/engineering in a manufacturing environment
Leadership/supervisory experience (3+ years) in a skilled maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or a supply chain role in a lean manufacturing environment
Proficiency in project management
Must be capable of utilizing engineering principles to resolve day-to-day concerns and be capable of understanding team member conceptual ideas and developing them into practical applications and solutions.
Must possess a certain degree of creativity and have a strong mechanical ability/background.
