About the role
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes.
- The role contributes to resident satisfaction, asset preservation, and operational efficiency.
- Diagnose and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems

- Operational / Departmental Support
- Support property readiness by assisting with renovations, turns, and quality control checks
- Promote company values and maintain professionalism in all interactions
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents, vendors, and colleagues
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives
Requirements
- Complete all required training and compliance courses by assigned deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance or related field
- Proficiency in mobile technology and work order systems
Nice to have
- Experience in single-family rental or property management environments
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials and equipment of varying weights (up to 50 pounds or more, with or without assistance)
- Ability to use hands and tools to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, including repetitive motions
- Ability to work in various positions and access confined or elevated spaces as required
- Ability to operate standard maintenance tools, equipment, and mobile technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, as required for safe and effective job performance
- Regular work performed in residential, including occupied and vacant homes, construction or renovation sites, and outdoor environments

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
