About the role
- Provides consultation and education in childcare teams and supervision to counseling staff and interns.
- Oversees Phase 1 Certification in Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics for clinical staff.
- Provides training to Boys Ranch staff related to clinical issues.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the alignment of clinical services with the Model of Leadership and Service through program design and development.
- Plan, prepare, and effectively manage budget requirements for Neurofeedback and Clinical Intervention Services department.
- Maintains a progressive orientation and continuously seeks to further develop and improve youth care programming.
- Assists in the design, implementation and evaluation of Boys Ranch clinical and neurofeedback interventions for identified residents in accordance with appropriate therapeutic practices.
- Collaborates with Boys Ranch staff to assess and refer residents for external contract services, medication reviews and Plan Of Service design.
- Assist in the design, facilitation and evaluation of Intensive
- Team Meetings and assists in developing team-centered approaches for residents who are struggling in collaboration with the Administrator of Intervention and Adventure Services and/or designee.
- Assists in the design, facilitation and evaluation of therapeutic group processes as needed.
- Assists in the design, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic Equine programs as requested.
- Meet and maintain requirements necessary to uphold appropriate licensing and credentials.
Requirements
- A Master's degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration or related field is required.
- Intermediate competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
- Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
