Ardent is seeking a Junior-Level Cartographer to provide geospatial production support focused on data creation, maintenance, and analysis.
This role assists in developing cartographic products and spatial datasets, ensuring data quality, and supporting mission-critical geospatial workflows in a collaborative environment.
Execute feature editing, attribution, and metadata population in support of enterprise geospatial datasets.
Develop standard cartographic map products and perform simple spatial analyses (e.g., overlay, buffer, union/intersect, map algebra) using ArcGIS Pro.
Package and deliver weekly geodatabase updates and contribute to data quality assessments and gap analyses.
Support onboarding activities and participate in regular team and stakeholder meetings.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in management or business, with relevant exposure to geospatial workflows or analytical support functions.
Familiarity with GIS software, particularly ArcGIS Pro.
Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Associate degree in business, finance, engineering, or an IT-related field is required
