About the role

  • This individual is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert and facilitator in the planning, development, and implementation of systems and processes that contribute to the growth of the bookkeeping department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing bookkeeping team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally - primarily with Strategic Business Unit Finance Managers - to deliver seamless, high-quality bookkeeping support
  • Identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and implement scalable solutions to drive operational efficiency and business impact
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Audigy members by consulting, presenting, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of their organizations
  • Collaborate closely with members and their CPAs to ensure alignment, accuracy, and compliance as needed
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes that safeguard the integrity and accuracy of member financial records
  • Optimize team scheduling and workflow management to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery of services

  • This position will manage and lead the Audigy Bookkeeping Services (ABS) Team.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated hands-on bookkeeping experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years managing accounting functions across multiple clients or entities
  • Hybrid work environment (Monday and Wednesday required in-office, with occasional additional days as necessary for meetings and events)
  • Full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • This salaried leadership role may require occasional flexibility outside of standard business hours to support team and business priorities

Nice to have

  • CPA designation preferred, or bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)

Compensation

  • Competitive Pay: Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 dependent on experience, plus a $75 monthly cell phone allowance
