About the role

Under general supervision, this position includes preparing, instructing, and grading all coursework in the assigned classes
Under general supervision, this position includes preparing, instructing, and grading all coursework in the assigned classes; assigning final grades; and recording attendance.
Prepare course materials, lectures, tests, and/or quizzes.

Responsibilities

Actively support student success through individual counseling and advising.
Support student professional development through appropriate organizations.
Maintain an active program of professional development related to individual, professional, institutional needs.

Requirements

Knowledge of technical and computer skills relating to the class to be taught.
Knowledge of instructional techniques and the proven ability to work well with others are also required.
Must be a public speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows based applications.
This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.
Credit rate $690.00 - $775.00 | Open until filled | Commensurate with Degree/Experience Level

Nice to have

Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the teaching discipline or a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in the specific discipline.
A Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred.
