About the role
- Tenable is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our core product engineering team.
- Be a part of a team to work on implementing and maintaining a highly scalable, highly reliable cloud-native user interface and underlying microservices which utilize modern technologies and programming languages.
- Specifically, job duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Responsibilities
- Our global employees support 65 percent of the Fortune 500, 50 percent of the Global 2000, and large government agencies.
- We deliver results that exceed expectations and we win together!
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX Design, and other stakeholders, to define requirements, iterate on product features, and ensure timely delivery of software releases.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or other directly related field of study
- Plus 8 years (96 months) of work experience in the job offered or other closely related positions.
- Experiences may be concurrent.
Compensation
- Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
